Open community forums on meaning, purpose, and value

There are undoubtedly big and amorphous questions in life about meaning, purpose, and value. And we think Jesus provides a satisfactory and transformative answer. HOWEVER we want to discuss that in a community setting.

For a few years now we’ve been hosting in local businesses a space where community members can have an OPEN and HONEST discussion about the Bible and Jesus. A space where you can ask questions — talk about your concerns or critiques of Jesus & the Bible — or share what you find intriguing about Christianity.

So you can hate Jesus, you can be suspicious of Him, you can be intrigued by Him — the point is to have a space, outside of a church, where you can talk about Jesus and wrestle with what He says about meaning, purpose, and value.

Luca Tucciarone, Biologist

“Spoiler alert: I’m not a Christian. I like people that are thoughtful about life. They still want to listen to me; they accept my opinion even if we aren’t on the same page.”

Gary Miller, Hollywood agent and scriptwriter

“[I] Ultimately wanted to improve [my] own relationship with God and be able to help others.”

    Guest Speaker: Conor Anderson

Connor Anderson is a local Christian philosopher. He loves surfing, his wife, and his two daughters. We’ve asked him to come address some of the leading arguments against belief in the Christian God.

    Specifically, he’ll be talking about:

    1. The problem of Evil and Suffering

    2. The moral argument for God’s existence

    3. The historical evidence for Jesus.

The event will be followed by a formal Q&A with Conor, so come prepared to ask your own questions!

The Team

We’re working professionals who call San Diego home. By day we live as scientists, property managers, digital marketers, IT project managers, court supervisors, and photographers. We all came to wonder about matters pertaining to life and God in different ways, so regardless of whether you believe in a God, many gods, or none at all, know that our goal is to create a safe place where we all can share, listen, and discuss.
